real estate siena home General Information

* Since an agent works for a broker, under whom, many other agents also work; he needs to know the whole setup of the business and how it is run. Statistics too reveal that housing is a risk free investment. Study the market; price it correctly so that this too may not fall the next day. Wealthy brokers can wait till turn around of the market and still make a profit but they are still tied down by the blocked money. Thus, character traits are equally as important as one’s academic background. Since an agent’s involvement in the whole transactions of real estate ranges from field work at the start to the paper work at the closing of the deals, he or she needs to follow some safety measures so as to be successful in the competitive real estate business. Agents and brokers sacrifice their family lives as there aren’t specified working hours for them and can’t vent out pent up family pressures on clients at any point of time. To close a deal if bargaining over price becomes necessary, the agents should have their clients best interest at heart and get the best possible price. The lean season can extend to more than a quarter or two when you have to stretch to make ends meet in the initial years.* Moreover banks are willing to extend loans for the purchase of land and buildings at lower interest rates. Theirs was the investment. Another common problem both for brokers as well as sellers is delayed or non-receipt of payments.*

A "McMansion" under construction

McMansion is a slang architectural term which first came into use in the United States during the 1980s as a pejorative description. It describes a particular style of housing that, as its name suggests, is large like a mansion, but is cheaply and hastily built, often in large neighborhoods at a time with almost no difference between individual structures, similar to the producing of food at McDonald's fast food restaurants.

In addition to ubiquity, almost every reason to poke fun at McDonald's has been applied metaphorically to "McMansions". These criticisms include the deviation from traditional local or regional architectural style; a gaudy, sterile, mass-produced appearance; and perceived negative effects on nature and neighborhoods.
